Sigmar Gabriel Thinks Saudi Arabia Was Looking Away

Some days I feel like a hamster on a wheel.

This is what the German Vice-Chancellor said a couple of days ago.
The German vice-chancellor has publicly accused Saudi Arabia of financing Islamic extremism in the West and warned that it must stop.
Sigmar Gabriel said that the Saudi regime is funding extremist mosques and communities that pose a danger to public security.
“We have to make clear to the Saudis that the time of looking away is over,” Mr Gabriel told Bild am Sonntag newspaper in an interview.
Are you kidding me?

If you are one of my regular readers you know that I am obsessed with Saudi Arabia's direct and pernicious role in radicalizing Muslims and supporting terrorism.

They are not looking away, they are the ideological source of radical Islam, the financier of the largest social engineering project in history to turn Muslims into angry blasphemy zealots and the main force behind every Jihadi movement in the last 35 years.

Their current king Salman was and has remained the point man for money raising activities for Jihadis and terrorists everywhere.

If anyone was looking away it was the Europeans and the Americans.

And I keep asking why.

And, as before, please don't tell me it is the oil.
